GT Haus SS Meisterschaft midpipes & exhaust for 1M
$2100 for both. Non-resonated mid pipes will also fit 135i. I am willing to separate if two buyers commit. Less than 4000 miles. I do not charge buyer my PayPal fees but buyer pays shipping from TX 77381. http://gthaus.com/ver3_ghprice.php?s...t#.U1nSwO29LCQ Chris roadsterdoc@yahoo.com Last edited by Roadsterdoc; 04-24-2014 at 10:23 PM.. |

What were your thoughts on the setup?
Too loud? Not loud enough?

Overall the sound is excellent. Fierce, serious, high quality like a turbocharged LeMans race car. At full throttle it screams. Cruising through my conservative family neighborhood with careful throttle input under 30mph garners no unwanted attention. Cold start is loud, lasts about 20-30 seconds per ECU programming. I've talked to my neighbors and they are not bothered. Cruising on the highway I can enjoy the radio at normal volume. My wife and daughter have never complained and they ride in it about twice a week.
So to answer your question: not too loud, definitely loud enough. I am a sports car enthusiast who loves Formula1, ALMS and all types of racing. For me the stock exhaust was not loud or proud enough. This exhaust nails it. For the soccer mom it will be too loud. |

Thanks for the feedback. True about drone. As with the stock exhaust, drone is around 2500 rpm. For drone sensitive persons, keep your OEM exhaust or at least get resonated mid-pipes.
