Comparisons to the E46M3GTR and the E92M3?
I know we have seen some comparisons to the M3 CSL, but I haven't seen any of the M3 GTR. Has anyone done any comparisons of the E46 M3 GTR and the E92 M3? Have you heard of any I'm very curious?
Thank You.

The GTR had a V8 like the E92 M3 thats about it.
The GTR was literally a street legal race car. As you know only two road going versions were made in order to satisfy race rules. However, Porsche threw a fit and BMW's V8 GTR Race Cars had to be tuned down and weighted to compete. The GTR was and still is an awesome awesome car.... Jason

There's no comparison actually. In ALMS trim the GTR air-restricted V8 developed 450bhp and 400lbs ft of torque... uncorked, the motor was reputedly good for another 200 horses.
Only 2 were built... one is owned by BMW and the other languishing in a collection somewhere in the Middle East. |
