Carbon fiber interior trim missing from US build-you-own/configurator?

I don't see this option on the bmwusa site. Is it not offered?

On the website it looks like you can only choose wood or aluminum trim... weak sauce.

Don't choose anything, the default is Carbon fibre trim.

If you don't select a trim you get the carbon fiber. Seems to be standard. I think the configurator is messed up as you can't go back to cf if you choose something else. Just don't choose a trim and it'll be cf though.

Factory Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Option?

I've seen some sites (e.g. Edmunds) report that you can choose Carbon Fiber as an interior trim option. However, on the BMWUSA M4 configurator website the only two options are anthracite wood and aluminum blade.

Is the website incomplete or are the reports I've heard of a carbon fiber interior trim inaccurate?

Here is a link to the build your own tool on the BMW USA website:

http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...modelcode=154H

Thanks.

It makes you choose one of the two.

I kinda figured but as all of the dealerships I called were persistently unhelpful I thought I would ask here. Thanks for the help guys.

The configurator seems to be broken on this, and I was confused about it for awhile at first too.

Don't choose any trim and just leave the CF. If you choose either other trim, there's no way to go back to CF other than to start over. It's a really stupid interface.

Correct - the configurator is broken since it does not even show the CF trim choice at all. It should be shown next to the other trims in the interior section, checked by default to indicate it is standard equipment, and also listed on the right in the pricing schedule with $0 next to it. This would also then allow you to go back to CF after checking out the other two.
