Strömung is willing to do another group buy on their Z4M exhaust. Before we talk price, I need to know how many people would be interested.

MSRP is $895 and the last GB was $805 for 10-14 sets and $761 for 15+

Please respond to this thread if you are interested in the GB. This is not a commitment to participate but please be realistic about whether you would actually buy at $805 or $761.

85% likely to be in at ~$761. but, i expect to have more loose cash in 4-5 months, and given that most group buys take around that long to organize and execute, my "in"ness is likely to go, both at the $761 level and the $805 level.

Does anyone know if these mufflers fit in the VRS Rear Diffuser? They say oem exhaust cannot be used, so i'm assuming there's a clearing requirement.

Would Definitely be in if it does fit.

Most likely just the cans. They are a direct bolt to stock pipes.

Typically exhaust videos are not a good representation of sound given that the recording device may be biased towards a specific frequency range. That said, does anyone know if these cause any droning? If not, count me in.

I have personally PM'd several owners of this exhaust with both MC and MR's - each one states 'zero drone'. I was concerned as I have a roadster, and I do not want any kind of drone or obnoxiousness, just looking for something a little deeper/throatier sounding when I hammer down. This or the Eismann, but at less than half the price, I'll try Stromung.

I hear ya…I put a lot of research into anything I buy for my car…however, I've only had the M Coupe for 3 weeks…not enough time to research everything.
