M perf exhaust

Hi all
Got an m perf exhaust fitted last Tuesday to my m135i. Sourced from southern bm. They were very helpful
I think it's the finishing touch the car needs. Start up sounds fabulous and lots more crackling than standard especially when off throttle. I heard a friends a45 the other day and I think it's sounds pretty good but a bit over the top. The bm now sounds deeper, more menacing and I think it fills the gap bw 2000-4000 revs where things were a little ( dare I say it) bland
Very happy and will try to get some very amateur video uploaded at some stage
Cheers

Good to hear mate. What did it cost you for the pipes + install if you don't mind me asking and did they maintain the warranty?

Been trying to source a 2nd hand BMW perf exhaust for ages now, unfortunately they are pretty rare.

$1935 delivered incl 40 delivery. John at southern bm was helpful
180 for install at local mechanic
I have a good relationship with local bm dealer so warranty should be ok as its a BMW product
Kept the stock exhaust to re fit at expiration of finance

+1. Once you hear the Performance Exhaust... you will be hooked. It really is a MUST have. I think the PE along with the Perf SSK and the CDV delete were my best mods.

I agree money well spent. Really think it should have been included as part of the original standard package
Not interested in some custom made exhaust. It was a simple bolt on as it's bm authentic. Will take it off when it's time to trade

i agree also that it should be included as part of a performance car...they included the twin turbos, 6 piston calipers, etc etc, why not the exhaust to match?
