Slime kit. Available at repco. Used it twice and concur it gets you out of a jam.

I've had to use it once so far and it is far better than any mobility kit.

I got the mobility kit thrown in with the car, I hope I never have to use it.
I had a flat one morning when I walked into the garage - no problem because I still have the original wheels & tyres stored at home. Getting a flat while driving? - I keep my fingers crossed and the BMW assist card handy. |

I carry a portable compressor and plugs. I also carry a jack as the plugs are easier to put in when the wheel is off the car.
It works fine for nails and screws. Sidewall tears are another problem which i would use roadside assist for. Long trips i will carry one of my track tyres as a spare. I have also heard this is good. http://www.continental-tyres.com.au/...ortkit-en.html A lot easier to use than the BMW mobility kit as you don't need to take the valve out like you do with BMW

mobile phone.. flatbed.
I still want to get a proper space saver for it though. I've heard one of the HSV ones fit and cover the front callipers but haven't been able to confirm it..

I have a HSV space saver. You will need to bore out the hub centre by about 2mm. I only take it with me on longer trips. Only had to use it once so far. Also have the BMW mobility kit which has got me out of trouble once as well.

Phone a friend, flatbed, or my favourite- drive on it to a tyre shop. Depends how stiff your sidewalls are and if you want to repair it or not. If I damage a wheel I'll buy new ones.

I've got the slime pack, plus a patching kit, plus a good quality foot pump. I also keep a pack of valve cores in the car. You never know if it's something as simple as a failed valve core. I like the foot pump better than a compressor. Simpler, cheaper, and more reliable. Big W sells a good one for $25. I use it every week for adjusting our tyres.
