M-Sport After Market Trim Line
I represent the minority who for the most part thinks the body kit for the M-Sport is bland and underwhelming.
Are there any after-market touch ups I can slap onto the side body like an aluminum strip to give it some character? |

Hmm, can I swap steering wheels? My only fixation with M-Sport is the steering wheel. I think it looks fresh and feels audi-like (I presently drive a Q5).

A steering wheel swap is feasible but can be expensive depending on your X5's installed options. There are different versions for heating, lane departure warning, etc.
At a minimum, you'd need the specific wheel, new airbag, and new multifunction buttons.

I'd completely missed this omission on the new X5! - these side moldings have saved my doors from dents so many times in the past!

Yeah, I like the look of the F15 but the new side vents will make it hard to add aesthetically pleasing side moldings. The running boards/bottom rocker panels are also more flush with the door. On my E70, the side moldings and running boards (still hits my pant legs-this is the con of running boards that jut out) serve to protect the door from dings. I do like the look of the new F15 but it will be more prone (less protective) to door dings.
