Would recommend seeing what version you are on before, you'd be surprised on how different a car feels just from a spark plug change and updating to 240E (depending on mileage).

What is the production date of your M3?

Lots of established tune options with coding features (Cold Start Delete, GTS DCT Software, etc)

Could be as early as 180E, could already be 240E.

Mileage? Any independent equipped with an autologic would be able to tell what software version you are currently on. There are other mods you can do that are more bang for the buck beforehand like Bypass Track Pipes, Underdrive Pulleys, Filter/Intake.

Tune can come later. Best to make sure maintenance is up to date first.

I would agree with Tom for the most part, although I have everything he mentioned except for pullies, I also have a tune. I got updated to 240 before getting the tune so that wasn't a factor in "feeling" a difference. When I flashed back to stock to bring it to the dealer (if you keep the rev limit the same 8400 vs. 8600 and opt out of "cold engine rev limiter" the dealer won't even see the tune) there was huge difference in drivability. The tune smooths out the power and adds a bit of torque. I'm in Long Island, you can drive my car to see the difference. Just PM me.
