OEM Exhaust Mod (Perforated) Success - Videos
At long last, I got my oem mod installed. I painted the can black (day pics posted below) and shot a couple impromptu videos last night.
Turns out, our video skills were on point. ("Our" includes @Edward). This is how exhaust videos should be shot from now on. No revving. No tunnels. No GoPro. No kid yelling "SECK!" in the background. No 5 minute clips waiting for the car to do a 7-point turn. I'm so tired of all that Todd. Last edited by grantmax; 05-08-2015 at 06:38 PM.. |

This is one of the best videos of the mod I have seen to date. Thanks for posting.

Seriously. I don't think I know a real human that revs their car. A neutral rev almost never ever happens so why is everyone on youtube so intent on capturing this sound? Exhaust sound from inside and outside the car under load is the only thing that matters.

Even the guy at the exhaust shop said "Don't bother revving it. The car will sound totally different under load." He struck me as one of those guys who got their education "on the job" rather than from "those square things with paper inside". Regardless, he knew his stuff.
