M3 dct e90 playing with 135i dct

Shot some videos on my way into work today and on my way home. Anyone have any ideas for better camera placement for less wind noise? I just ordered a micover hopefully that will help.

Literally whenever the opportunity presents itself or I have no one in front of me for a stretch I grab a lower gear and go. Just the blip of exhaust the comes from downshifting is like music. I often wonder what people think behind me when they hear it "bark" at a downshift or get the exhaust smell (catless) going in their cabin. The best part for me is I have a tunnel on my commute. It's like a symphony everyday!

Gopro hero 3+ black edition. I was really impressed too with the quality. Just need to do something about that wind noise to get the full experience.

Get an external mic and place it on the license plate on your bumper...won't pick up all the wind.

Here's my example:

Here's the mic:

Not sure about the newer gopro but my gopro 2 needed me to buy a different case to allow for mic jack.

Dinan Axle Back + Test Pipes = that sound =)

But yeah, external mic makes a big difference.

I'm thinking of doing an exhaust as well and from how your video sounded the dinan might be a great option. In the video above when the 135i was punching it, it was kind of tough to hear. I really hope the F80 M's have a screamer for an exhaust note like the s65. Although with redline coming up faster and it being an inline 6 not very likely I would think.

Isn't the Dinan actually a "Badged" version of the OEM Exhaust mod?

That's a serious question btw. If not...what's the difference between the two?

Not the same. Dinan exhaust are two separate canisters, and only flow exhaust out of one of the exhaust tips, so the internals are different as well.
