Drew's VT3 traps in roughly the same range as the Aventador...I'd be a good match up.

That 458 did way better than I expected...without the jump that the M3 had at the start there wouldn't have been that much in it at all.

The 458 was likely in the wrong gear at the start...hence the initial pull we see. When I ran a 458 coupe (unfortunately don't have the video) I pulled on it by over a car length down low with the 458 coupe nearly catching up at the half mile due to aero. Taking that previous experience into account, and the spider being heavier, best result would have been at least car length back in my opinion.

...a lot of these runs are very subjective and based on the driver, especially when running a high revving low torque motor. The Aventador I ran also started in the wrong gear, not that it mattered.

yeah, aa had a poor showing

Biglare, funny that you mention the AA car...there was a white M3 running an AA stage 2 there as well that I have on video. I think they were actually brothers with nearly identical setups.

While both got walked pretty badly I think they were 6MT (vs my DCT), at which point it really comes down to driver. I'd know as I had a 6MT...and freely admit I can't even come close to the DCT shifts in a straight line pull, much less on a track.

Tom, it was good running into you out there!

...not sure how accurate the traps were, as you know they were fubar most of the day. Best I clocked was 154mph or there about...but anywhere between high 140's low 150's consistently.

Nice kills man! What other power mods do you have? I'm thinking about upgrading my VT2-600 to 650.
