US M3 debut is LA and M3post.com meet up!

Thanks to member REPK1RR for this confirmation directly from an LA Autoshow person,

Quote:
According to present plans, both the M3 Coupe and Sedan will be on display at the LA Auto Show. The earliest possible opportunity to see these cars at the show would be by attending our Sneak Preview Night on Thursday, November 15 - http://laautoshow.com/2007/GeneralIn...8/Default.aspx .

We will also have a special opening day $5-off e-ticket available soon after the first of the month. Please check back on our web site if this is of interest to you.

Best regards,
Scott Webb
Los Angeles Auto Show
How about an M3post.com meet up at the event on the 16th? Take a Friday off work, head to LA, see the new M3 in person and meet some fools you have spent a lot of time BS-ing with.

The tickets for the special opening night event on the 15th start at $125, a bit too rich for my blood just to see the car a few hours earlier. Hope to meet some of you there.

Hmm...I'll be home on vacation. Wonder how much a ticket to LA is. Hehe.

Come on...

Come on guys (and gals) where is all of the typical M3post.com excitement? we can go on and on for hours and pages discussing, debating, criticizing, defending, etc., but when it comes to one of the most important things - seeing something IRL no one wants to do that and have a little get together? Where are all the local So. Cal . local folks as well?

P.S. The fires are not much of a direct concern in the city of Los Angeles at the moment and certainly will not be a concern next week, let alone 3 weeks from now.

I will be there!

But I got a feeling the M3s will be displayed on a rotating platform, beyond the reach of our ogling saliva.

Well, I'm about 100 miles west of Wilmington, so that'd be one hell of a drive for me.

No. But it doesn't mean it won't be either. However, I'd certainly place my money on it not being announced.

Great to hear the car is going to be at the show. I'm hoping to get a good look at it on professional night.
