At this pace by February I'll peak 125k , only problem is this car still runs too strong to switch to F yet, idk if my OEM exhaust modded E90 is ready for retirement, it's too damn amazing in every way mechanical...8300+tunnel=pure sx

That's awesome. I see you're a 6mt car as well. I've been saying the same to myself, car runs too strong to retire to a F... 60k and going and I still love it every time I start it up..

Great to see that mileage and hear you are enjoying the car. I've been way too focused on the rod bearing threads lately.

Are you the original owner ? If so it would be perfect to ask if you remember how you chose to break it in : conservatively, moderately or stepped on it in a matter of days ?
How would you describe your typical driving style ?

Well done! Mine is nearing 3 years old and I'm looking forward to another 4-5. The F just doesn't attract me in any way.

Aggressive break in, no full throttle or passing 5500 but half throttle and quik shifting for 1200....I've mastered the 1-2 shift which makes this thing awesome....oil change every 7-10 k, still on original clutch, always either fast dump of clutch when doing time trials or racing little wannabes but most of the time In everyday driving I release the clutch to the point of engagement then nail throttle...i don't drive this car as much from Nov-February as I live in upstate ny but if it's not snowing I drive it everyday rain or shine...

Oil every 7-10k
Plugs every 15-20
Rear diff every 30
Trans fluid every 30-40
Air filter every 15 or so

Tires depend on donuts or aggressive backroad MDM testing

Brake pads I let the computer tell me and do visual inspections on a weekly basis, however I am still on my original rotors which is scary but they are still strong and brake like new so I'll wait til 125k to change

Other than that I keep the car mint and clean it weekly also keeping wax exterior and crumb free interior...

Also I always keep it in sport plus edc 2 , and when I turn it off if in on the highway the suspension feels like new...I think the more you keep it in stiff mode the longer it will last IMO..

Love these threads!

See these cars come in and out of here often, no doubt they can last for another 100k miles!

Nice! Glad to hear you are still enjoying your beast. It's good to hear stories like this. Makes me want to keep mine for a long time.
