Anyone got their roof painted gloss black?

Anyone got their roof painted gloss black? I got a quote to get it wrapped and it was around $500

What should be the approximate cost of getting it painted?

Cheers

That's way too much. I got a quote and it was $300 to wrap including the fin antenna...

did you get it wrapped in gloss black? Were you happy with it? What is the longevity of external wraps?
I have a sunroof, I don't know if that makes it more expensive?

cheers

To paint the roof wouldn't be cheaper, but it would probably look better.

For resale purposes the wrap would most likely be the smarter option?

Was my 135i. Gloss Black and I had a sunroof.

They told me without the sunroof it would have been more like $250...

Quality was good. Avery Vinyl. The vinyl is warranted for 7 years in "vertical applications".

Basically what that means is that on a roof that spends heaps of time in the sun it might only last 5 years.

+1

Definitely more expensive to spray the roof (due to labour costs) and I'd just stick the gloss black vinyl on there. Maybe even buy the vinyl yourself and have a go...
