Samsung S4 audio distortion, crackle via Aux
I have a Samsung S4 and noticed audio distortion and crackle sound when connect via Aux. I tried two units. Anyone experience this? What's the input impedance of the AUX connection on the CCC stereo?

Have you tried a different aux cable? If the cable is not shielded, it can cause interference.

This will sound obvious, but have you tried twisting the plug in the hole to see if it goes away. Do it to both sides, just to make sure you have a good connection. The connectors contacts sometimes gets a bad connection and causes these things. Also, turn down the volume on the phone and see if the distortion goes away. Or try another phone/ipod?
I haven't had any problems with the Aux-in with the CCC. The sound quality is better with a native line-out connection than the phone headphone jack output but otherwise it works fine.

I used an iphone for this.. I used the Aux-in jack (not y-cable) from the headphone output for a while and it was fine.
