Unhappy Urgently need help!

Hi there, I drive a Z4 Roadster 2003 3.0i - SMG transmission. Few days ago I had the opportunity to take a look in the bottom área and I found that it does not have transmission cover, went to the dealer and they say that it is so, that does not take cover in that part, anyone could tell me if this is normal, water does not damage the electronic under there?

I have attached a picture from the área.

Thanks for your responses

Got it. Driving the car through deep water isn't recommended. Some have seen ABS/DSC issues with water intrusion into various modules in the wheel wells. Ordinary wet roads aren't something to worry about, but deep puddles, that's another story. If there's a flood, best to try and stay out of it.
