US East Coasters Come Over!!!
Surely, the cost of flights cannot be Prohibitive for an M3 Buyer.
Come over, go see a UK dealer. See and touch and drive the car. Look at all the options first hand. Photograph what you want. Seriously, you have a long long wait otherwise. I'm curious, would you guys consider it? |

I would not travel just to see a car. My time is too valuable. I'd happily stop at a dealership to see it if I was already planning a trip to Europe though.
I am looking forward to seeing the car in Detroit in January. West Coasters are lucky as they get to see the US debut at the LA show in next month. |

But I cannot think of a time when BMW hasn't debuted a new model in the US at the earliest opportunity following its international debut. There's no reason to think it will not be in LA (and then follow at Detroit, Chicago, New York, etc). I am talking about the coupe, of course. The sedan is a little less of a given, since it hasn't been shown publically yet. And the convertible, well, that one is anyone's guess (I sure hope its in Detroit! ). Unfortunately, I am sure they will not have pricing available at this time, just like there was no pricing provided for the E93 3 series when it debuted in Detroit last year, even though it was going on sale in March. Actually its too bad BMW does not do SEMA because if they did then maybe we'd see the M3 in Vegas on the 30th of this month! |

I've never really wanted to go to England or Great Britain or whatever its called.
Maybe Germany in the next year or two and get right to the source, see that sweet BMW museum/factory/futuristic building where you can pick up your car.
