Stripes on 1M

Thinking about doing something like this to my 135i. I have a black. Is it possible I could do something like this without painting over it? Any ideas on how it would look on a black 135?

Sorry for the bad quality pictures. Was driving when I took it.

If you're planning on doing it, just use vinyl.

Ricey, since it's not an M. Just my opinion. If you're gonna do it use vinyl as shown above.

Nothing ricey about it until you add a M badge IMO. Definitely go for vinyl.

I still don't understand why people get so mad about the ///M badges. They're all over the interior and wheels, I wouldn't do it but still doesn't make sense to me why people get so upset about them.

On topic: The stripes aren't my cup of tea, but if you are set on doing them definitely do vinyl. Most graphic/sign shops maybe even tint shops can get something like that done for you wherever you want to put it on the car for cheap since it'd be relatively small.

I agree. My M Sport equipped car came from the factory with no less than seven M badges on it, one on the steering wheel, one on each door sill and one on each wheel. If it is alright for BMW to put the M badges on the car I have no problem with others adding more M badges to the car. In the end people who really know M cars no the difference. Plus BMW uses the M badges as a marketing tool. That's why they put them on cars in the first place.
