UK only - How long for delivery from build date

Would appreciate knowing from those that have got their babies and those that are waiting - once you have been given your build date, how long have you waited for delivery and/or what has your dealer told you and how accurate has this been?

My build date is Monday 15th October then been told another 3 weeks for delivery....

cheers

You're looking at approximately 30 days from the time it reaches the docks. It'll be a couple of months before your car is here. If you get it earlier than this time December, consider yourself lucky.

My experience was Week 38 Build and I can have delivery this week if I would like to; so that's Week 41, so I would say 3 weeks is about right in the current BMW climate. I've deferred delivery until I get back from holiday for Sunday 28/10.

Sedan_Clan, note that 1198r said "UK only..."
It takes months to reach America since there is quite a large pond separating it from mainland Europe. However the time to reach the UK from Deutschland is approx. one-month (give or take one-week) from the build-slot date, and not a "couple of months"!

Ahhh, my mistake. I didn't keep that important tidbit of info in mind as I was replying.
