Question Need Help Lost Boost

MY ESS 445 system was working fine until this AM - took the M Coupe for a run and it seemed a little different and when I looked at my boost gauge all I was getting was between 1 and 2 lbs where as before it was closer to 5/6.

Only thing I changed is - re-programmed the gas pedal as it was acting up so turn key on - off - on start - 15 seconds each.

Put on Stromung exhaust but seemed OK for last 2 weeks.

When I came in I checked every clamp and hose and thought maybe the main one from Supercharger to the manifold was slack so re- did and checked every joint so - no air leaks

Then wondered if it was my boost gauge - not sure how to check that but electronic pressure sensor and all hoses to it are tight.

Is there any way to increase the pressure back to 5 and any idea what else I could look for.

I have about 300 miles on the system and like anything else when it works its great and when it don't - I could sell the car.

Look forward to some help @

2lbs is very low. It's disconnected or your gauge is bad. This is not a leak.

I think the gauge is the problem - it must be an electrical problem because a hammer wouldn't fix it. no leaks 0 still cuts the traction control in going into 2nd

So do you feel loss of power or is the gauge only showing 1-2lbs boost?

Ps. Lol at hammer comment

I "believe " it is still pulling pretty hard - can chirp join into second with the traction control on and it still seems to go = however - its a psych thing I believe - the gauge goes to 1 1 1/2 and thats it - hopefully it is the gauge but I don't know how to test it >?

Another gauge is the only way to test but 2 psi would be very noticeable.

Where in the rpm band are you showing 1-2 psi?

My car shows more boost at part throttle than at full throttle.

Talking All Is Well

My mechanic hooked it up and used smoke to find that when they get hot some of the clamps are not as tight as they were and enough loss on several including manifold was enough to arse it up

He did mention clamps with some sort of spring system but I have never seen them - on to the e-bay tonight.

Thanks for all the help - as Roman said -"only 2 things - as the boost is set mechanically there is either a leak or the gauge is broken @

Great Gauge 0 Speedhut.com - works fine

If a T band is tight, you won't need a spring.
