Meh 1: front-wheel drive Meh 2: it looks like a 1-series convertible Doesn't interest me muchly |

Rumored all wheel drive version would make me very interested, especially if they can subdue NVH in the high output 4 cylinder engine. Like the reduced size of the car and the simplicity of the fabric top.
For style I like the front, but don't like the back - taillights look too much like E89, which I find rather bland. |

If there's going to be both fwd and awd, it will likely be Haldex.....
So it will still feel and drive like a fwd... bye bye fine&sophisticated steering characteristics... No fwd roadster is really interesting imho (maybe to look at (or to be seen in?) but not to drive...).

I suppose the upside is that an E89 SDrive 35IS may be heavily discounted in the final production year as a result.
On the other hand, they may also be in high demand, if the Z2 turns out to be a disappointment.

I can't keep up with all the models, names, etc. Even my mechanic can't keep up with it all. When it becomes too complicated, people will lose interest.

Definitely funny.
Too many models and I don't like it when they want to be everything to everybody. If you make a great car, people will buy it. |

In the baggage hall in the Munich airport, BMW has a really special ad...
Like to think it resembles an E85/86 the closest, but it could be many contemporary models. This thing is really cool, it makes a sound of an engine revving every few minutes...
