handle, outside w/o comfort access, from 1/08 Left

Hello everyone, I have a question about purchasing a part from getbmwparts.com i am looking into buying the Handle on the door driver side because mine got the paint sort of chipped off when i had the car moved from one state to the other, i see that i can buy that specific part but i want to know if it comes pre painted? or will i have to paint it?

Has anyone ordered any specific part from them?

just take it to bmw... its a $26 part.

last time I checked outside door handles came as "coded" part, meaning you would have to get it painted to the color code of your car. My dealer is like this.

All body parts only come primed. You will have to have a body shop paint the replacement part. Its like this for bumper covers and other exterior trim.

Maybe check with Tischer(getbmwparts.com)... maybe they can have their body shop paint the part for you.

How bad it the scratch, if you have to take it to a body shop anyway to get it painted why not just have them fix yours?

Here is a picture of the handle, i went to my BMW dealer and got a little bottle of Alpine White paint and passed over it like 2 years ago, but for some reason it still bothers me lol....and if i do plan to sell the car i dont want that to be the first thing a potential buyer sees lol. I dont think the BMW dealership could fix it, and if they could it would probably be more beneficial if i just buy a new one for $26.

lol, that Altima is crazy. People do some weird shit. As far as the handle, that one is fixable, there is no reason to buy a new one. Any decent body shop would fix that for $50-75.
