Can find the OEM part number for the six spoke pieces on the M steering wheel however looking for the part numbers for the control modules that are on the wheel.

Thanks....

RealOEM.com Home => Vehicle electrical system => Switch:
Steering wheel electronic control

BMWfans.info has really nice illustrations.
I'll have to start going there more often.

Thanks guys....question though? My right switch has only two buttons where the diagram for the right one shows three. Anyone know what the top left button above the R/T is for? Thanks again.

You're right.
Upon closer inspection there is an extra button above the R/T button.
Those don't look like the right shape, either.

I think I'll be replacing my trim this weekend.
I'll see if I can get them off and see if they have part numbers on the back.
Unless someone want's to beat me to it.

I think the diagram is just wrong. If you look at this post, the author ordered a new wheel, with those same part numbers for the switches - it doesn't appear he received anything out of the ordinary.

They just use generic pictures of the type of item you are buying. Its not always an exact drawing of the part.

Just pulled my switches and clam-shell trim.
That was harder than it needed to be.

I can confirm that the part numbers in the diagrams linked above are correct.
Left switch says 8035323
Right switch says 8035324
