July POTM Submission Reminder - Due Monday July 29

The deadline to submit POTM is Monday 7/29 at 9:00PM PDT. (I'm running late this month, apologies.)

The POTM seen some requirement changes based on input and refinements by POTM participants over the past few months. The objective of these changes are to improve the picture quality (larger size, decrease compression issues).
Picture dimensions have been revised to a max of 1024x768 (filesize of up to 900kb using JPG). Pictures can use smaller edge sizes, this is simply the maximum size.

JPG (not JPEG) format only (the Forum does not support large filesizes for JPEG, and compresses data, which reduces quality). This means that the file extension should show as .jpg.

Reminder: It's the submitters' responsibility to ensure submissions are within the max dimensions and in the correct format.
Photo Submission Requirements
  1. Send photos via email to zpostpotm at gmail dot com.
  2. Subject line must have "POTM plus user name". Please tell me who you are so I can credit the photo.
  3. Zpost User name, Year / Engine / and Color in email body
  4. Picture size of max edge size of 1024 x 768
    (Photos can be other sizes.)
  5. One picture only
  6. Pictures must be in JPG format - No Bitmap (no JPEG, .bmp, RAW, or whatever)
  7. Max filesize of 900kb (JPG only)
  8. Post count of 50 (or significant contributions to the forum).
  9. Only photos that have not been submitted before (no previously submitted photos).
  10. If you won last month you're not eligible to enter this month so others have a chance.

FAQ

1) Can we photoshop pictures?
Yes but anything so drastic where the photo just looks unrealistic isn't what this thing is about. Either way, the way I see it is that members will vote based on what they think really captures the essence of the car.
2) Can we submit multiple photos per entry?
No, only one picture per month, but you are allowed to participate in multiple months.
3) Why the post count requirement?Zpost is a forum/community where member participation is encouraged. However, exceptions will be made on case by case basis depending on one's contributions (i.e. technical guides, DIYs, etc.).

Bump! Looks like we have only one E86 so far in the running. It's the weekend--go out and get some shots, or dig out something from the past (as long as it hasn't already been submitted)!
