CC Id 378 Driverside Angel Eye out

While replacing drivers side angel eye with led the passenger side accepts the led just fine but when i go to replace drivers side nothing happens i put the oem bulb back in and nothing.. Cycled the bulb with the battery both oem and led i got no response from either.. the h8 wires for the angel eye on drivers side were dry rotted and cracked off so the 3 copper wires were pretty much all touching.. thinking this was the problem i separated the wires from the housing wrapped them with electrical tape hoping for a solution and nothing still have the CC id 378 error and neither bulbs will respond on the drivers side angel eye. i put the oem bulb back in the drivers side hoping it would come back on and its been since yesterday and still nothing besides error code.. really frustrated looking for a solution besides visiting the dealer any ideas welcomed
