Driver side Angel Eye not responding

So my passenger side angel eye burnt out and I ordered a pair of LEDs and when I replaced the passenger side everything worked fine and then when I replaced the drivers side it would not turn back on when testing it. I made sure the connections were all tight and after doing so plugged the halogen bulb back in and nothing..

Anybody else ever have this happen? Did I blow a fuse somewhere? Any ideas welcome

It sounds like you may have blown a fuse. I'd check them first

I had this happen when installing my angel eyes not too long ago. I resolved it by disconnecting the battery for about 2 minutes.

Thanks i found out the reason why it happens is because when the car senses an error electronically it cuts power to that device apparently if you put the oem bulb back in for a period of time it will reset going to try both to get them working because the one side looks great with the led

That`s what I figured, and why disconnecting the battery works. Be prepared to have the car do this multiple times, the reason being that the initial charge to ballasts is enough for the car to assume something is wrong. Hook everything up, and take the car for a drive, this`ll make sure the ballasts are receiving a proper charge. Once things settle down, you shouldn`t receive any more errors or lights turning off.

Cycled both bulbs with battery and nothing then I looked at the wires and the driver side has little to no rubber covering left on it so it must of dry rotted I checked the code and it was consistent with the driver side bulb not sure how I'm going to approach this I think the dealer will try and charge me for a new headlight or something ridiculous. Anybody ever have to recoat the copper wires? Is it easy?
