Anyone interested in Factory Nav?
I am thinking about selling my factory nav system -whole or parted out. I drive a 2008 Z4MR. I find it more distracting than useful. It's cool.. but I know where I'm going. ;-)
If interested; send me an offer. |

There's at least 3 parts to this.
!) The display with motor drive 2) The head unit with radio 3) The DVD drive in the storage compartment Which are you offering? |

I'd be interested in the display with the motor drive ... but I'd also be happy with a mechanically working unit that has a faulty/broken LCD display (for a project perhaps!) if anyone has one for a reasonable price.
If you sold the satnav ... what would you put in its place? |

It's more than just a nav

PS. I believe the GPS aerial is located in the middle of the roof frame behind the interior lamp, so you should include that with the sale. Intravee_Users_Guide_V6.02-7041.pdf |

@Stickmon: In for penny, in for a pound. All 3. No sense in leaving partial system in place.
@Pungo: I've read about the add-ons. I'm not interested. I have a big, loaded CX-9 for commuting.. this is just a fun, summer car. @ongnoi: Swap what? Not really interested in factory radios. Is there local Z4 group? I was thinking of doing BIR on the 15th (http://birperformance.com/skins/defa...dule-lr-v1.pdf) |

You are going to remove the nav and not swap in the stock setup...?
Just curious, what do you plan on putting in it's place? Theres going to be a huge hole in your dashboard isnt there? |

@Z4inAZ : X3 has same system. It seems all (at least after a certain date) had the hole cut in their dash. There is a in dash shelf option. Basically; looks the same as nag system, except little button in front that opens the lid to small storage bin.

I swap my NAV/Bluetooth system for a regular Z4 audio system for 800$. And we swap dash so I don't have a big hole in the middle of the dash.
I think it worth the time you will take to strip the car interior completely |

Sinbad4 - My M Coupe doesn't have NAV. So ideally we can swap my dash and head unit + cash for your dash, head unit, NAV display and other electronics that make it work.
