This stuff is amazing!

So... Am I crazy wanting to spray this on my cloth top?

Just read a few reviews, probably not the best for black canvas as it leaves a "coating"

Ha! I just posted that a couple days ago in one of the general BMW threads talking about plati-dip.

Its as close to actual f&@(ing magic as I've seen in a long time. I'm planning on picking some up at Home Depot in the next couple days for experimentation purposes.

tempting.... the tan soft tops are a pain to keep clean. It would be interesting to see what it looks like after being applied first though.

I briefly talked about it in this thread. Been waiting for someone to offer black or clear. I think black would be great because you would end up re-dying your top black making it look brand new.

I'd be interested to see if it stays pliable after being subjected to 1 MW/in^2 of solar rad.
Might turn to flakes.
Damn it's hot today.

I would recommend NOT using this product (Neverwet) on your softtop. I bought a kit this weekend and sprayed an older rain jacket for testing purposes. The application is painless. When all said and done, the coating/film is a whitesh color and NOT CLEAR.

It does shead water at advertised. It's freaking amazing...

The kit is only $20.00 at Homedepot. Pickup a kit and do your own testing....
