I don't think the iPhone was designed for any data pull (push or upload from the iPhone) -- you can certainly put data in (usually via iTunes or 3rd party app) but not the other direction. It could be that Apple does not want any entanglements with "Digital Rights Management" especially in the case of copyrighted music or video or photos for that matter.

Being in iOS development there isn't much you can't do with an iPhone. We built an app that takes photos of damages for insurance purposes and synchs it to our database while stamping long/lat info, date time etc.
It would be nice feature to have the ability to choose and post photos from inside this app. It isn't new or unheard of by any means. We see it everywhere from Facebook and other social media apps. Basically the development team who built and maintain this forum app should look into adding it for future releases. This app is really good, and posting pics would make it great.  |

Thanks guys, It really is sad that I can use my droid x to put photos on here but not from the iphone. Makes you wonder why even bother with it.
