Anybody ever run with an XFR?
Had a guy in a nice maroon (haha) XFR try and race me today. I laughed (mainly because he chose to buy a jaguar) and ignored him.

Don't underestimate the XFR I just made the switch from a 2012 XFR to the M5. It is a very, very fast car and although falls short in many areas to the M5 it beats it in character and engine sound.

XFRs are handsome things, I definitely would've shot a thumbs up instead of laughing!

The XFR-S is the faster car.... (than the normal XFR) Look at that car as more of a comparo to the F10 M5.

Yes I have. It's not bad but for the price range I would go with something else. I don't like the interior and it came with cheesy brakes that a 535 would come with.

The XFR is more comparable to the E60 M5, and it isn't quite as fast as that.
It is a cracking car though and as said the engine note is lovely. It is a 503BHP supercharged car hardly something to scoff at! |

Looks like the m5 decimates the competition with throttle on efficient, steering and suspension in comfort mode. Wonder what the time would be in sport+.

I really like that little F-Type convertible.
Keep trying to get the wife to consider it so it can set next to my M5. The more exceptional Jags (**-R, **R-S) are appealing. |

The F10 is much more of a 'limitless' car. Expoiting the limits of the XFR was pretty easy. I wasn't a fan of the auto box but the steering was communicative and the ride was wonderful. It felt a bit smaller than the F10 as well. It is an endearing but flawd car. It had a FANTASTIC Bowers and Willkins system, which I feel is a tad better than my B&O. It was not as solidly built but I do miss it a bit...

XFR? Meh - The F type is more interesting...
Jaguar F Type
Gallery Not bad for an "overpriced Ford" - I would jump at the chance to test drive one of these babies.

You make an interesting point and Jaguar is well aware of it. That is why they offer massive discounts on their cars, which is also why they have no value in the used car market. So if you are looking for a bang for the buck you can get a lot of car for the $$ but you pay when it's time to trade in. Most 'high end' car dealerships don't even want them as trade. Initially what got me to get the XFR was the incredible value: I got a 2012 with 4K miles demo for 58K and the MSRP was 85K… That is the price of a not fully loaded 335i or an S4 and trust me when I tell you that the XFR is MUCH more of a car then either of those (I own a 2013 335 and drove the S4 extensively). That's E60 M5 money and you get a full 4 year warranty etc. So in my opinion, comparing the XFR to the F10 is not a fair comparison from a technical and a financial perspective.

No there is a limited production XFR-S which shares the performance upgrades of the XKR-S. I think something like 100 of them are heading to North America.
