Don't take this board for granted
My M coupe is now at it's new home in Cajun country and I'm trying to find a similar site to share info for my TT-RS. I'm not sure something similar exists. I thought I found one with Audiworld. However, I asked a fairly simple "newbie" type question re: the tires on the car. After 24 hours, only 50 people had opened the thread and zero responses. I guess no one either knew the answer or cared enough to share their wisdom. I posted pictures two weeks earlier after I got the car noting that I was looking forward to sharing experiences with others on the board. Only 1 person has come forth with a "welcome" or other comment. That lack of response or enthusiasm would have never happened on this board--which is why I will still probably hang around a while longer--at least til I can find a new board. Keep it going guys!

Just outside of New Orleans. I'll let the new owner come forward and disclose more if he wants to.

VWvortex is another Audi forum…though I'd compare it more to E46 fanatics.
(seems to be a younger crowd)

Isn't part of the problem with getting TT RS information from a forum that there were only 1000 built and they are rarer than the Z4M coupe/convertible? Edit: Found this - Rarity This mini-R8 is also extremely limited in production, with just 1,000 units produced for the entire world market between 2012 and 2013. If that isn’t enough to set off collectors, the American version of the TT-RS is only available with a six-speed manual and as a coupe, while the European version can be ordered with a DCT unit and a convertible top. This means that of the 1,000 TT-RSs produced worldwide, very, very few will be US-spec, as the majority of Audi’s TT-RS sales will occur across the pond. As such, the TT-RS could be the most exclusive vehicle Audi has ever produced for the US market. |

The AudiWorld forum that I was using was not just TT RS owners. It is for all TT owners, although there is a different forum for the first generation TT vs. the second generation--kind of like the E85/86 vs. the E89 models. I expected more activity and participation than what I'm seeing so far.

I've been exposed to many other forums, and the experience here is uniquely positive.
I wonder about the watch and workout stuff too, I wonder why that shows in the new posts or today's posts views. It is distracting, but it's a board thing, not a participant thing. |

Threads about watches and gym/training that pop up in the today's posts or new posts views. Like "Seamaster vs. Aquaracer". . Cars? Sure. Watches? Meh. Shouldn't show in a "new posts on Zpost" view. Minor complaint mind you, and it's the people on this board that count.

To echo the thoughts of others:
1. The participation level and knowledge freely shared on this forum is nothing short of fantastic. 2. The willingness of members to contribute their time to help a single member or to benefit the forum in general is impressive. 3. I also agree with others that we are here primarily as car enthusiasts. If the powers that be want a health/fitness forum, let that forum have their own dedicated "New Posts" search feature.

I skip the watches and working out and wish there was a way to customize the "New Posts" to the sections I care about. |

I personally like the watch threads, well cause I like watches. Too Lazy for the workout threads, but always excited about reading something that pertains to my ride. Lot's of knowledgeable people on this board. I have learned so much just by reading.
