650 covertible
Hoping someone can help with this. My M3 lease is up in a few months and I am torn between leasing another M3 convertible or a 650 convertible. The 650 would be ordered with M sport package and 6 speed manual. My only concern is the steering on the 650. My wife has the current 535xi and while she loves it I am not a fan of the steering on the 5 series. Does the 650 have the same steering as the 5 series? Not sure I could live with that steering daily.

Sounds like a test drive is in your future. The 650i will be noticeable slower than your M3, but also heavier and more luxurious. Trade off. Personally I think the class of the 650i outweighs the loss of power, but YMMV.

6 Series steering feel is VERY different from the regular F10........ Go test drive for yourself

You really can't compare how a 550i drives with a 650i. I drove them back to back at the PC, and there was a world of difference.
Can't really compare the 650i and M3 convertibles either. They are both BMW convertibles, but at the end of the day it's M3 (sports car) vs. 6er (big, powerful, luxury GT). I can see the two being cross shopped, but it really comes down to what you're wanting in a car. No wrong decision
