upgrade newbie...help?

This is the first time in my life I have been in to putting work in to my car. I bought the car used so I know the brakes are a bit worn and not brand new. I definitely want to get new brakes, calipers, rotors - all that good stuff. As well as street sport suspension.

I dont know websites, trusted dealers...anything like that.
Nor do I know what brands to be looking for or specifics about the part like what is the best kind of break pad to get...you know?
