looking for a tune, for M3 on new IDrive

08 Euro RHD DCT here. Interested to get a tune for my car. The problem is since I had retrofitted the new IDrive into the car, all software updates will require me to manually reinstall the previous IDrive headunit and control unit before the system can link successfully. It is a PITA to do this all the time, and I suspect most if not all of the tunes may require me to do so. I am asking here to see if any of the tune maybe able to be programmed in with my current new updated Idrive?

You won't have to change anything. Whatever tune you decide, just plug in the supplied cable to your OBDII connector and load the tune. You'll be fine.

Fortunately most systems will perform updates/tunes other than the factory dealer ISTA/P system. Some aftermarket tools might have issues too.

Everything we use will bypass this restriction and update/tune regardless of the hardware installed.

We've tuned many cars with upgraded navigation systems with no issues (my personal M3 is an 08 with the 2012 CIC/Combox Retrofitted).
