Hello New M3 owner!

Hi all,

I've been a frequent on this forum for the past couple years, first had a 335i step, then got rid of that for a 135i 6-speed. Now im back again only this time i've let the 135i go for a '04 M3 smg. I have to say that I'm loving this car more and more every day. I do however miss the torquiness of the n54 but its a trade off. Let the modding begin!(probably just an exhaust) already has the stage 1 dinan tune.

Jacob

Congrats on the upgrade. We have plenty of parts for the E46 m3 if you ever get the modding bug.

as it won't be too easy to extract very much more power out of this car without forced induction, im leaning more and more towards just doing exhaust upgrades first.....any suggestions would be great. and sound clips of said exhaust wouldnt hurt either....i tried to upload some pics but it wont let me do it cause it says dimensions are too large? didn't have this issue when i posted pics of my 135i not sure why im running into this issue now. anyhow its an '04 TSM SMG. 60k on the clock, runs really great and as i've got to learn to use the smg i've found that i really quite like it. And i am a die hard Manual tranny type of guy. Anyhow, thanks for a the warm welcome to the forum guys. Good group of people here.

Jacob

ps. o yea i forgot to mention it has the stage 1 ecu tune from dinan. not too sure exactly what type of changes in performance and drivability that has on the car. Perhaps someone running the same tune could chime in.
