Dinan cf intake owners: Possible to use a BMC air filter
Just scored a good deal on a Dinan CF intake for my M3, thanks to Gilbert from McKenna BMW. And I was just wondering if it's possible to use a BMC filter with the Dinan intake? I read somewhere long time ago from someone from IND saying it's possible..but don't really see how...can a fellow Dinan intake owner chime in?

Yes, you can.
You can simply install the C/F elbow and keep stock filter holder then you can install any aftermarket replacement filters.

I bought used dinan cf intake from forum member. I replaced the used filter with new replacement one from dinan for only $69 + shipping (I think they use k&n though). See link below. Not sure if this is what you're looking for.

cool guys, I think I might end up with a MS oiled filter...
Many have said the Dinan filter is actually a K&N, but Dinan actually recommends we replace the air filter every 20,000 miles instead of "re-charge"....weird |
