2008 BMW M5  [6.88]
DC rollover accident - ///M related

Cliffs:

-2008 BMW M5
-Occupants were 20-21 years old from Leesburg
-Driving 80-90 mph over the Key Bridge leaving Georgetown
-Hit a curb resulting in the car rolling over 3-4 times
-Driver died, two passengers survived with injuries
-Driver that died was Sami Ullah from Leesburg.
-Accident happened around 5:30 am today.

Very sad. There were two different white M5s I use to always see around in Tysons or on 267 and chatted at stop lights with both drivers before. Both with modified exhaust.

These events are always a reminder that these cars need to be respected as its easy for them to quickly get away from you.

Can your seatbelt snap in these types of accidents? News article noted occupant was ejected, but then again, the roof came off. I would imagine the guy not hurt critically mostly stayed in his seat with his belt on.

1 Occupant ejected - likely no seat belt
driver died - likely due to blunt force
