N55 downpipe
I have a 2012 135i and I just bought a catless downpipe, I know its gonna throw a code but will it put my car in limp/safe mode? They dont make anything for my car yet that will keep the code off besides the JB4.

We have quite a few in stock if you're looking for a great deal on a 3.5" 304 grade stainless steel downpipe

I'm new to the BMW crowd, does anyone make a downpipe and mid-pipe that is just a single shot and doesn't split? That seems like it would just be less work and more efficient on the N55.

The BGM can tool also clears the code and is much cheaper than the getting a full tune. Even with a HFC the n55 will throw a code.

It will throw a code since it will be catless. A check engine light will appear and have a code for whatever about the 02 sensor. But there should be no reason why the car would go into limp mode, but I am still learning about BMW tech. I'm not sure if the JB4 has a feature to tune out the 02 sensor but that is another question maybe someone else can answer......I would think it could do it.
You could also go to a local tuner and let him tune the car but then that'll void your warranty. |

A DP Fix and CAN clear are two different features. A DP Fix simulates the o2 sensors and allows you to pass inspection because it allows the car to follow through with OBD readiness whereas the CAN Clear feature in the Procede and JB4 only clear the code before they have a chance to pop up. Both options won't put the car into limp mode, but the can clear will not allow a car to pass inspection if they hookup an OBD scanner.

there is a dp fix which simulates O2 voltage switching to fool the pcm. you can get the sim by itself or it comes in the JB4 tuner
