New NSW Highway Patrol cars, coming your way SOON !!!!!!!!!

These are the new FPV F6 Typhoons.
I believe 10 will be rolled out along with a few potential big GT's and eventually Holden's.

Don't be fooled by the brightness, if one is behind you the whole front end is unmarked so you wouldn't be able to tell.

I can always tell when they are behind me ..... their blue and red lights are always flashing

Reminds of what I saw the other day @ Eastern Freeway - Orange dirt bike - it was an unmarked police bike - who pulled over some poor fella.... Even I wouldnt be able to suspect something like that....

HEY Boys these new Highway Patrol cars are already out. BECAREFULL!!!
from the front it looks like a STOCK FORD car with roof racks, the new siren lights are
clear which is very hard to determand unless you are up close.

Ive also seen a undercover HOLDEN SSZ-series Highway Patrol car looks like gun metal grey

ACT Federal Police guys have alot of unmarked Falacodores (sedand and Utes), they all typically have the dash mounted clear LED flashers and small LED flashers in the grill and sometimes either side vertically on their numberplate frames. Not that I look

That airport trap at Sydney is a nasty one. The cop stands right at the top near the crossing at arrivals. In the afternoon he has the sun right behind him. Very hard to make out.

I think it's a 20km zone.

Very easy to get done there if you aren't on the brakes

Yeah, I have had enough tickets in my driving life that I have given up driving in a spirited fashion on roads. You will eventually lose your license - which I have done more than once.

It takes great concentration and pre-thought not to wind it out, especially when some mug in an SS ute baits me...but it's just not worth it. The house always wins.

Good question zuzu. I love it, but it's power is really hard to access day to day compared to the 135 (or 1M I'd assume). I was very sad to see the 135 go to its new owner on the weekend. The torque in that engine is gold.

I think the biggest step up in the M3 is the chassis/suspension. It's just so settled through hard cornering which I love. And I fking love the look of it. I'm out at eastern creek next wednesday so that will be the true test. I tell you though, if Alpines' 1m was up for 95k when i bought the M3 it would have been line ball.

edit: Question for you as well actually - you and I both got 135s early on - what's the difference on, say, a scale in % between 135 and 1M.

First it was the facebook alerts now this. I think they are getting back at all of us in making them harder to spot on our Sydney roads now. I didn't think this debate/argument could get any worse. The colour scheme on the cars looks like ass. I wonder how many kilowatts these falcodores are packing?

I have spotted Golf's as well as Impreza's as unmarked police cars in the past few days. I think its all about revenue raising.
