F10 M5 Basline Dyno Completed

Well just wrapped up getting a baseline dyno of my stock M5 and the numbers are impressive!!! Time for the modifications to begin. Thanks to the guys at EAS. http://www.europeanautosource.com/

Based on these numbers and what others have shown the engine has to be producing 600hp+ & 530ft/lb+ at the crank. Awesome.

Yeah this is insane.
The M5 is only rated at 560hp. But base on a 15% drivetrain lose, the car is producing 623 hp and 571 torque.
A good comparison would be the Alphina B7. It is rated 540hp while it only dyno at 417hp.

I still believe one of the reasons BMW states such low HP is the traditional turbo power loss at high temp and altitude. The BMW lawyers wanted to be safe no matter what day or location someone put the car on a dyno the number would be larger than 560. Just my thoughts.
