Anyone have to replace the windshield?
Took a rock to the windshield. It appears to be a bad chip and scratch but of course it's right in my line of sight. Has anyone had to replace the windshield yet? It doesn't look like an easy job, with all of the cameras and sensors, and the windshield looks like it has a frame on both sides that look impossible to get off. If you had it replaced, how did it come out?

I recently had to replace my windshield on my 2011 Range Rover Sport Autobiography, and I was worried about the same thing. Between the rain sensors and multiple other sensors and cameras, I was concerned about the replacement. But believe it or not, a good windshield repair guy can pull out your windshield within the hour and have the new one in less time.
Its really not a big deal to these guys and I am sure the F10 M5 is no different then a any other car including a regular 5 series

I had to replace two windshields on my 2006 E60 M5 which also had the heads-up display. Both replacements had zero issues - everything worked afterwards and no water leakage. I would recommend you have the dealer do it if you're running it through insurance anyway.
