Tow hook cover

Someone jacked my front bumper toe hook cover. Anyone know where the best place to get a replacement cover and how much they cost?

THanks

IND sells them. They're not expensive ($20 or so); it's painting them, which can be another $80. And that labor is so expensive because even though it's such a small part, the shop still has to mix up the paint, match your color if you don't order one pre-painted, etc. Sorry OP!

Yeah, someone replaced my rear one with a darker color. Dealer quoted $60 to paint it if I bring it in. Haven't checked with IND yet.

I thought you could order these pre-painted from BMW.

Mine did too, but wasn't sure whether the OP was under warranty.

Nope, not pre-painted. A lot of dealerships order them and then have them painted at their local paint shop though, so they come to you pre-painted. But depending on the condition of your paint, the color may not match exactly that way if an area as small as the tow hook cover matters to you.

OP, if you replace it, buy 2 or 3 unpainted and get them all painted at once since the painting cost will be basically the same, so it's a better value and then you'll have spares.

Maybe another M3 owner's tow hook cover was lost/stolen and he saw an opportunity to pass that misfortune off to someone else?

You can get it from dealership for cheap but the problem is the painting.
So I think buying it from IND would be your best option since they paint AW (according to your sig pic) very often.

Yet will look better and be functional if he tracks or auto-crosses the car... A wash either way...

Just put the stock one in. No one will want to steal that.
