Yep all the work was done at the VDC including the black grill! The dealer is finishing the 3M wrap today getting ready for my 800 miles drive, and will hit the blue mountain ridge!

Yes I took delivery on 9/3, and also attend the M event on the 4th. I was not sure on the color, but my CA sold me on it and said it's and M5 be different. When I took delivery at the Welt I was amazed at the color, and would make the choice again! Less than 24 hours to go, and excited again.

Congrats. How did you get the black grill to vdc?

The grill was OEM ordered with the car, and the VDC has to apply them. Any accessories are done at the VDC when ordered.

Full merino black aluminum trim. The dealer sent me the pics on a plane flying to GA, and tomorrow will head to Michigan. Feels like Christmas. Congrats to all, and it was worth the wait!
