To all members who had oil pumps replaced.
After your oil pump was replaced did you get a call from BMW NA to notify you that the repair was completed? My car arrived at the dealership in atlanta on Saturday. There were no instructions of any kind. My ca was under the assumption the dealership would repair but there was no correspondence. Should it be assumed that pump was replaced at VPC? I haven't received any call from BMW NA like many of you have after repair was done. Seems like dealership was kept out of the loop. It showed up on there lot like any other delivery.

My understanding is that all the cars that were part of the 9/1 ED Process were fixed at the VPC prior to redelivery at the dealer. Have the CA/Service Manager call the VPC. Also there should be a work record on your VIN in the BMW system

My was delivered 9/3 ED, and arrived at the NJ port where the pump was replaced at the VDC. Car shipped last Saturday to the dealer in Michigan just arrived today ready for pick up. My rep from BMWNA called me when the pump arrived, called me with the repair was complete, and called when the car shipped to the dealer.
