Whats up everyone i have a hardtop ive been wating to mount on my roadster, just waiting to paint. unfortunately i could use some extra cash, so i will be willing to sell along with prep kit (installed on car rightnow) and interior covers. hardtop is in great condition no dents or scratches, except for a very small easily fixable paint chip in front (shown in pic) It has been stored indoors and well taken care of..my loss is your gain, i will NOT ship or anything like that local pickup or drop off ONLY. located in Moreno Valley California 92557......3,000 FIRM. if interested let me know

hahaha ahh no, i believe youre the one on crack buddy, 3200 from dealer maybe in 2003. try in 2012 buddy. i was qouted from several dealers at 4-6 thousand top only without instalation. lol! 3200.. thats if you can find one.. like i said im not desperate to sell and actually would like to keep so that my car looks better than yours =) especially since winter is coming...yes ive seen them sell in the 2000s just hardtop, but ive most commonly seen them sell in 3000s...if you dont want to buy, its simple DONT lol.

Can you still get one from the dealer? The OP has a bit of supply and demand working for him, since hardtops are scarce. They're a bit of a luxury item though - since no one really needs one (the canvas top is quite good), beyond a certain price point people just throw up their hands and forget it.

As for the comments about the OP, really dude? I know I'm fairly new around here, but I thought this community was a little nicer than that. Why not suggest that his price is too high and he should consider lowering the price instead of insulting him.

I was a day late on a hard top for sale in OH for $1500. Either way your going to pay between 2 - 3k when it's all said and done...painting / fit kit etc.

I didn't notice that the OP asked for input about his asking price.

Unsolicited, and particularly rude comments about a fellow forum member, or an items price, really reflects badly on the juvenile posters, who in this case were both totally lacking in their knowledge of current OEM pricing.

That kind of crap also negatively impacts on the value of the "Classified" threads as people with items for sale will be reluctant to post them for fear of some dunce jumping their thread.

What color is the top? Looks like Toledo Blue? The passenger side lock post has a label near it that has the color on it.

um yeah im not apologizing. I've already paid my dues. sorry. op should have posted a feeler instead of insulting our intelligence. if you look hard enough you can find a hardtop for about 1500.

and if you had any idea as to what I'm doing for the other members on this website you would back the **** up.

I'm currently busting my tail to get our doors made in carbon fiber which is not an easy task.... and I will be getting both doors in a 1 to 1 copy for less than this jokers asking price for a hard top that can had be had for less..... anyway that was off topic......look.....I'm telling you this guy can do something about the price.
