Steering Wheel Off Center

I noticed the other day that center of the steering wheel where the BMW logo is doesn't point directly to the center of my chest, but more towards the left (towards the drivers door). To compensate, I find myself sitting more towards the door and on the edge of the seat. If I sit in the middle of the seat and put both hands on the steering wheel, both arms angle to the left. Is this common in BMW's? What purpose does it serve? My previous vehicles steering wheel was in the dead center of the seat

This could be due to: 1) alignment 2) tire not balanced 3) suspension set up

I had same issue with my brand new F25 X3. It took 3 visits to dealer to fix the problem.

I hope my F10 won't have the same issue like yours.
