Break In Service Indicator

I took my car in for the break in service about 2 weeks ago. After I picked it up, the car still notifies me that I have an upcoming service due after xxx miles. If I look in the settings on the in dash screen, it still shows I'm due for a break in inspection. I told my service advisor and about the indicator still being there. He said that I was 1 of 7 M5's in the US to have their break in inspection done that early and BMW hasn't released a software update yet to reset the indicator. Is this BS or does anyone else still have the indicator?

That's bs! I had mine done two weeks ago. No indicator problems!
It's amazing what these dealers tell their customers.

Mine had the same problem. Took it back in, they at first said they were unable to do it, but the tech was eventually able to figure it out.

Ya, my salesman confirmed that with me earlier today. Others were saying that it is detuned until the 1200 miles service. I guess thats false.
