Brake Dust Question
Hi guys.
Wanted to first say that its been a week almost since I ordered the 2013 M5 for European delivery. One question I have that is killing me here! I own a e60 550i M sport, and the break dust on that car is unbelievable. My rims are always getting dark after I wash the car. Black within a week. Sometimes it is impossible to even get the rims 100% clean. Is this the same issue with the M5? Please let me know because I am about to go wash my current car, and can not imagine having to clean the rims the same way on the M5. |

In comparing to the E60, it's considered marginally better for the F10 M5... however, if you want to comapre the E60 to F10 regular 5 series, the latter is vastly better.

One time I noticed that if I dont clean the rims regularly on the 550i, the break dust sort of burns into the rims, and then I can hardly get it clean. So I was just wondering how often I would need to clean them, and how bad they get.
