Pennzoil Ultra 5W-40 Euro full synthetic
Has anyone else tried this oil? I am at 62k miles and at 63k its time for another oil change(I did my last one around 54k-55k with OEM fluids) It is now LL-01 certified but from what I am reading, in the past it was not? I know it is run in direct injection ferraris and I am really interested in trying it out.
I will update this thread with my experiences after the oil arrives. I found it for 40 bucks per 6 quarts...so I will have 12 quarts to start off with. I usually have to add about 1quart of oil per 5000 miles with as hard as I drive the car so I'm not sure if i should keep the extra 5 quarts or sell them individually so others can try out this oil.(that would allow others to buy the 6quart pack and then 1 quart from me so they wouldn't have to upfront buy 2 6 packs like I did. this oil is not available in the USA in a single quart) |

I've heard nothing but good reviews. They probably didn't go through the necessary testing (early on) to get the LL-01 designation. Just an FYI... six quarts of the 5w-30 European formula can be found on eBay for less than $40, plus $8 shipping.
