Yellow Engine Malfunction light comes on

when i was accelerating to about 135 mph i heard a big pop, i immediately slowed down no light came on at the time, about two weeks later however i was going up to about 75 and the yellow half engine light came on anybody have any ideas i am very concerned mainly because my warranty just expired Im at 52,000, here a little info i have a 2008 135i m sport no mods 52,000 miles

i also forgot to add that when i shut the car off the light goes away since this is the first time i have seen the light and i have only driven it for short while since the light went away i am afraid to do more harm by driving it,

What does the charge pipe look like or do, sorry for the newbie questions!

Pic of charge pipe going to throttle body. Just check for cracks and that it is secured to throttle body. Unless you have cone intake it wil be under your airbox. Also if you know someone in your area that can check codes for you.
